The Texas Gentlemen Saint Paul Concert reviews
Diva of the day!
The Texas Gentlemen proved they are on their game and for a career that lasted 50 years, you go girl. I didn't know what to expect; how is her voice, can she deliver? She also performed some new tracks from her new album, which were jazzy in nature and I enjoyed them as well. She went back to some old classics during her Arista years, then ended with "That's What Friends Are For." She joked about being on Celebrity Apprentice and then hit us with non-stop classics like "Walk On By", "Anyone Who Had A Heart", "Alfie", "Do You Know the Way To San Jose", and so many others. Then took us to her Brazil album tracks which were fresh and enticing. Am I greedy for wanting more or was this enough. I realized that she performed for 1 hour and 15 mins and went home. Hmmm. I guess I am greedy. I wanted 2 solid hours. I had at least 10 other songs she could do for an encore, but that never happened.
